Dubstep from Loopmasters is a brand new Download Pack featuring over 170MB
of brand new beats, bass, synths and Sound FX for new wave musicians, producers
and DJs looking to incorporate some authentic Dubstep samples into their productions!
The term 'dubstep' was coined by Ammunition Promotions and first used on an XLR8R
magazine cover that featured Horsepower Productions. It gained full acceptance with
the Dubstep Allstars Vol 1 CD (Tempa) mixed by DJ Hatcha.

In 2007 dubstep producers are increasingly absorbing dub reggae sonic
aesthetics - sub bass, reverb and delay - to forge a distinct path away from
associate genres like drum & bass, house and breaks. Using different rhythmic
patterns like the 2step and halfstep beat patterns (yet deployed in the same tempo
range) dubstep can create senses of differing momentum within the same DJ set.
At best, dub reggae sonic aesthetics also allow a broad range of new musical
influences to be introduced with a sense of coherence.

The Pack was created by Toni Ann Gray of Bulletproof Breaks,
and includes 15 atmosphere pads, 48 Dubstep Basslines,
30 Drumloops, 13 Sfx Hits, 17 Melody Loops and 50 Dubstep Drum Hits.

Also included are RMX compatible Rex2 Samples for all the Loops and 22
Patches ready to play in Kontakt, Halion, Reason NNXT and SFZ.

Presented in Acidised Wav and Rex2 formats here as a Zip file, simply

There are a handful of men who have the title of “Godfather” of house music, and while many have legitimate claims to the title, because of seniority and being there at the beginning, one stands out from the crowd as being the one that actually defined not only House music, but dance music itself as we know it today, his name is Marshall Jefferson.

Marshall Jefferson – House Generation is a collection of samples produced by Marshall for producers looking to make inspired classic and future House tracks, using some of the sources that up until now Marshall has kept a closely guarded secret.

Marshall recruited the services of luminaries such as Byron Stingly and Paris Brightledge to record a great selection of classic House vocals, Chris ‘Bam Bam’ Westbrook recorded the guitars, Louie Louie played percussion, Ed Funk was on Drums, whilst Sherman Burks and Rob Crawford recorded the keyboard loops. Perhaps one of the biggest triumphs of this exclusive sample collection has to be the recuitment ny Marshall of Orbert Davis from the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, who was put in charge of capturing an awesome selection of live House Strings and Brass Sections for the project, which we are sure you are going to love.

Marshall’s dedication to the project and musical input has resulted in a truly unique collection of rare and previously unreleased samples, which are sure to grace many hits in the future, both within the House genre and other styles. Besides being executive producer for all the artists involved in the project and writing all the main musical parts, Marshall also recorded a great selection of vocals, 303 bass lines, keys and did much of the editing himself, and we are all very proud of the results.

Jason McGerr, the drummer of Death Cab for Cutie, as well as a producer and owner of Two Stick studios, has been long time fan and user of Reason. Now he has created a versatile collection of acoustic drum loops and hyper-sampled drum kits designed for flexible and creative music production for Reason users. The ReFill enables balancing close and ambient mics to sculpt the sound. Using vintage and state-of-the-art equipment combined with carefully selected instruments, the loops and drum kits offer great character as well as pristine audio quality.

The Jason McGerr Sessions ReFill consists of drum kits and REX loops covering a wide range of styles, all with an alternative feel. McGerr himself performed and recorded all material, in the very studio with the same instruments and recording equipment used to record the drums for the upcoming Death Cab for Cutie album. Inspired by Propellerhead's Hypersampling approach used in Reason Drum Kits 2, Jason McGerr Sessions takes a completely unique approach to working with drum loops and drum samples. This ReFill offers both a large collection of REX Loops along with highly detailed samples of the drums used in recording those loops. That means that song construction with drum loops is a breeze, and adding detail, breaks and fills to the loops, which previously had been a challenge, is now a snap. Users can build up songs with the REX Loops and then use the multi-sampled kits to make the drum sounds their own.

Acclaimed UK composer and multi-instrumentalist Dirk Campbell has sampled every instrument in his extensive ethnic wind collection, bringing you the evocative sounds of many rarities like the Bansuri (Indian flute), Turkish and Persian Ney flutes, Kaval (Southeast European flute), African flute, Suling Slendro and Suling Pelog (Javanese flutes), Irish Penny Whistle, Irish Low Whistle, Fujara (Slovakian Contrabass Whistle), Japanese Shakuhachi, Andean Panpipes, Armenian Duduk, Indian Shenai, Egyptian Zummara, Turkish Zourna, Gaida Bagpipes (Greek and Bulgarian, three types), Irish Uilleann pipes (three types), Scots Highland pipes, Medieval Praetorius Bagpipes, Turkish Tulum, Arabian Mezoued, Cretan Askomandura, Czech Dudy, Nafir (Moroccan trumpet) and African Kudu Horn.

The flutes range from sweet and delicate to eerie, breathy and complex, evoking the beauty, stillness, depth and mystery of the natural world. In contrast, there are the wild, strange and stirring timbres of ethnic reed instruments, bagpipes and African horns. Dirk’s personal samples are supplemented by an Andean Panpipe player and a top Shakuhachi master.

The library’s strength lies in its articulations as well as straight notes. There are up and down bends, various types of grace notes, and authentic phrases and performances. These can be combined easily to provide a very realistic delivery, sounding just like a real player. To avoid tuning clashes, all samples are presented at concert pitch; alternatively, if you prefer to hear the instruments in their purest form, ‘raw’ programs have been supplied which demonstrate the native tuning, scales and ranges. There are also atmospheric programs which work well for pads and textures.

World Winds is a must-have for film, TV and media composers, World Music, Rock, Pop and contemporary Classical composers and performers, creative keyboardists and programmers, and anyone with an ear for great instrumental sounds!
